PRO Tips
Always provide a coffee and/or side table for drinks so they don’t go on the ground.
Mix fabrics, textures and materials to create a lounge area that feels effortless and intentional. While cohesion and coordination are important matching everything may feel flat.
Pick 3-4 colours, 2-3 textures or materials and 1-2 prints or patterns.
Make sure there is at least 60cm of space between key objects which will need to allow guest flow.
After dinner, make sure there is enough seating for those less able to stand but not enough to seat more than 30% of your guests at one time so that the majority still mingles and engages on the dance floor.
Remove the smoking area from the action so your guests have a good incentive to come back to the main party instead of creating a hanging out area of their own.
