LITHA 2019

Hosted by Jo Flowers and Hart Floral

I know a bank where the wild thyme blows,
Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows,
Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine,
With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine:
There sleeps Titania sometime of the night,

— A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Styled by Anne from Hilde Stories and photographed by Maureen M. Evans, Litha 2019 boasted an abundance of fresh design ideas and gorgeously natural, yet modern feel. The styling embraced the notion of slowing down and observing all things natural and sacred – and the celebrate the concept of beautiful gatherings, the kind where friends and family gather around an exquisitely decorated dinner table."

DAY ONE

GRAND GESTURES

Designed by Anne from Hilde Stories, Litha 2019 dinner on day one featured jade greens, soft white, ever-so-soft blush and muddled honey hues. With neutral hushed tones of beige, grey, soft white mixed with stark amber & rich walnut the design drew on the ancient brickwork of Bylaugh Hall complementing the beautiful architecture instead of fighting it…

DAY THREE

IN THE WIND

Blessed with the kind sunshine, the dinner on the final day took place outside, basking in glorious British summertime weather. With the most feminine and tender florals adorning the long tables, the design played with round shapes, copper details and a myriad of pastel shades. While dining al-fresco lends its own special magic, especially as the sun sets and the candle light start to glisten, the setting balanced all the elements in perfect harmony in a cheerful, nostlagic and youthful way you feel linger long after…
